Keyboard Video Mouse switches (KVM switches) play a very important role in overall server management system. KVM switches enable you to manage multiple servers using only one keyboard, monitor and mouse. 

Hanut BigView CAT5 kvm extender allows user to operate the kvm switch (hence the connected computers) from up to 500 feet away using standard cat5 data LAN cable.

The CAT5 extender can also be used to operate a single PC from a remote place up to 500 feet away. This is useful when the computer (CPU) is in a noisy machine room and in numerous other situations.

Hanut India BigView CAT5 kvm extender is very easy to install as NO software installation is required. Power and data transmission LEDs of the extender help in installation and troubleshooting. 

The keyboard video mouse (KVM) extender is compatible with DOS, MS Windows, Linux, Unix, Netware computer operating systems. 

The BigView cat5 keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) extender supports screen resolution as high as 1280 X 1024(Cat 5 cable up to 500 feet approximately).

 

Technical specifications of CAT5 KVM Extender 

Hanut India BigView CAT5 kvm extender comprises of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is connected to the kvm switch or PC and the receiver is connected to user's keyboard, mouse and monitor. The transmitter and receiver are connected by a standard cat5 data cable.

Two 1.8m long 3-in-1 KVM cables and a power adapter are included with Hanut CAT5 KVM extender units.
