Designed for Xeon server motherboards

Hanut 4U Pro server chassis is specially designed to properly accommodate Intel SSI EEB, extended / full ATX (12" × 13") server and workstation boards. 

The Pro chassis also accepts standard micro-ATX and ATX motherboards. 

Like the Hanut entry server chassis the Pro chassis also has a standard (non proprietary) design. Standard based design enables easy maintenance and up-gradation and wider choice of components like motherboards, power supplies etc. in comparison to server cases with proprietary designs and construction.

Redundant power supply capable

Hanut Pro server chassis accepts server grade ERP12V (1+1) mini redundant  power supplies. Since power supply failure in one of the leading causes of server downtime use of server grade ERP12V redundant power supply is recommended and/or required for building high uptime servers. 

Hanut Pro 4U server case also accepts non-redundant EPS12V power supplies (460W & 550W) and economy ATX power supplies. 

Hanut Pro server chassis thus gives a lot of flexibility with respect to motherboards and power supplies. 

Rugged construction - enhanced protection from shocks & vibrations

Chassis body is made from heavy duty galvanized steel sheet and powder coated with  polyester paint. Extruded Aluminum profile supports along the sides further enhance the mechanical ruggedness of the Hanut Pro server chassis. 

Hanut server chassis supports Intel’s recommend Direct Chassis Attach (DCA) of heat sink mounting and removable stand-offs for motherboard fixing.

In Direct Chassis Attach (DCA) the CPU’s heat sink is fixed to the server chassis’s base instead of being fixed to the motherboard. DCA makes the server motherboard and hence the whole server more resistant to shocks and vibrations. 

The HDD drive cage has a shock and vibration absorbing design and construction – a feature found till now only in expensive industrial pc chassis.

[Optional] Hold down bracket protects add on cards from shocks and vibrations. 

Excellent ventilation and heat dissipation

Two rear mounted 60mm Spire ™ ball bearing fans along with front to rear air flow design of the Hanut server chassis provide excellent ventilation and heat dissipation. Hanut India offers 3 year replacement warranty on its chassis cooling fans.

HDD cage for high storage capacity

Hanut PRO server chassis's HDD drive cage can accommodate up to three 3.5 inch hard disk drives. [NEW] Using optional 2nd hard disk drive cage up to 4 addtional hard drive drives can be installed in Hanut India 4U Pro server chassis. Assuming HDD with 80GB capacity the PRO server chassis can offer close to 560 GB of storage capacity. 

Specially constructed HDD cage minimizes transmission of outside shocks and vibrations to the hard disk drives. Smart placement of the HDD cage in the chassis prevents heat buildup in the HDDs.
